How do I renew my LEI?

How long is the LEI valid?

The LEI is issued for a period of 1 year and must be renewed every year. The decision to renew it is always made by the company that holds the LEI.
We encourage you to take advantage of the multi-year fee offer. If you pay for the LEI for consecutive years and the company data assigned to the LEI matches the data in the official register, the LEI will be automatically renewed once per year. However, please remember to verify the data assigned to the LEI.

The reference data of entities which have been issued LEIs by KDPW are published on the KDPW website and disclosed to the GLEIF. The data are kept up to date. If you have any doubts about reference data published by KDPW, report them. We will check them for you!
