How long is an LEI valid?

An LEI is valid for one year from the date of issue or one year from the date of each subsequent renewal.
We encourage you to take advantage of the multi-year fee offer.
If you pay for the LEI for consecutive years, the LEI will be automatically renewed. However, please remember to verify the data assigned to the LEI.

The reference data of entities which have been issued LEIs by KDPW are published on the KDPW website and disclosed to the GLEIF. The data are kept up to date. If you have any doubts about reference data published by KDPW, report them. We will check them for you!
