How long does it take to renew the LEI?

The LEI can be renewed within minutes. Renewal time may be extended due to the payment method selected or the need for the entity to complete/submit the documents necessary for LEI renewal or to update the company details assigned to the LEI.

The reference data of entities which have been issued LEIs by KDPW are published on the KDPW website and disclosed to the GLEIF. The data are kept up to date. If you have any doubts about reference data published by KDPW, report them. We will check them for you!
