How long does it take to get an LEI?

You can get an LEI within minutes.
It may take longer to get an LEI if you pay by traditional bank transfer, additional documents need to be provided, or the company’s details need to be corrected in the LEI application.

The reference data of entities which have been issued LEIs by KDPW are published on the KDPW website and disclosed to the GLEIF. The data are kept up to date. If you have any doubts about reference data published by KDPW, report them. We will check them for you!
