Can I change the data for an LEI if I have paid for it for several years?

Yes, the data linked to the LEI should be updated even if you have paid for the LEI for several years in advance. The LEI should reflect the company’s current data as entered in the relevant register, which is why regular updating is important. Changing the data does not affect the validity period of the LEI or the prepaid years.

Report incorrectness of data
The reference data of entities which have been issued LEIs by KDPW are published on the KDPW website and disclosed to the GLEIF. The data are kept up to date. If you have any doubts about reference data published by KDPW, report them. We will check them for you!
