How much does it cost to issue/renew an LEI?

Are the fees for the issuance/renewal of an LEI subject to VAT and if so, at what rate?

Fees for the issuance and renewal of an LEI are subject to 23% VAT. The fees are quoted as net amounts. For foreign entities which have a VAT identification number registered with VIES, VAT is not charged.
